Teacher - Primary - Cosmo Newberry

This is a 36 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 3, 2026

The Role

Based in the Cosmo Newberry Community (approximately 100 km north-east of Laverton), this unique Kindergarten to Year 6 (K-6) teaching role suits someone highly independent, flexible and committed to working within a strong, safe and supportive remote community. The campus has an excellent relationship with the Cosmo Newberry Aboriginal Corporation and the successful applicant will work closely with community members to support students and families.

Alongside classroom duties, there is opportunity to assist with campus operations such as breakfast or recess preparation (shared with the Aboriginal and Islander Education Officer) and light cleaning to maintain a safe learning environment. Any additional duties are paid at the relevant casual rate.
