About the role

Catherine McAuley College Bendigo is seeking a passionate and dynamic educator to join our team for a full-time, 6-month contract teaching Applied Computing – Software Development. The ability to teach Mathematics is welcomed but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Applied Computing – Software Development to students in Years 11–12 
  • Plan, deliver, assess, and report on engaging and differentiated learning programs 
  • Support students to develop coding, problem-solving, and project-based learning skills 
  • Contribute to collaborative team planning and curriculum development 
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment 
  • Engage with parents/guardians, colleagues, and the school community professionally and respectfully

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Current VIT registration (provisional or full) 
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, Computing, Software Development, or related fields 
  • Ability to teach Mathematics is desirable but not required 
  • Understanding of contemporary digital learning practices 
  • Commitment to Child Safety standards
