Heckenberg Public School is located in South Western Sydney, 5km west of Liverpool, and was built in 1965. The school serves a culturally diverse community with 20% of students identifying as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and 65% speaking an additional language or dialect across 19 language groups including English, Arabic, Vietnamese, Khmer and Samoan.
