About Pittwater House School

Role description

Pittwater House is an innovative independent P–12 school on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Our unique Twin Schooling model combines single-gender classes from Grade 2–10 with a co-educational senior school in Years 11–12. We are committed to high expectations, explicit teaching, and the wellbeing and growth of every student.

Pittwater House seeks a full time, HSIE Teacher from the start of Term 3, 2026. The preferred candidate will be able to teach Stages 4-6 History. The ability to teach Extension History and either Modern and/or Ancient History would be an advantage. Candidates should be innovative, experienced, and demonstrate strong lesson planning, student engagement, and knowledge of the NESA curriculum. Experience teaching in NSW is preferred.

All staff contribute to the School’s pastoral care and co-curricular programs (note: no Saturday sport). The successful applicant will be expected to participate in pastoral care, camps, and co-curricular activities as required.
