Role description

The Beginners Aide supports classroom teachers in delivering a nurturing, Christ-centred early learning environment for children aged 4–5 years. The role contributes to the holistic development of young learners in a caring and structured environment that reflects the College’s mission and values.

The successful applicant should:

• Be a committed Christian who is actively involved in their church
• Have a genuine love of children and be committed to their growth in learning
• Contribute to the life of the College community and be part of a God-honouring collaborative staff team

Details of the role:

• The Beginners Aide works closely with Classroom Teachers and the Learning Support team (where applicable) within the Primary School to support the delivery of the Beginners program.

• This role provides care, supervision, and educational assistance to support the development of students’ social, emotional, physical, and early academic skills, under the Teacher’s guidance.

• The Beginners Aide contributes to a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment, assisting with play-based learning and daily routines while modelling Christian values and care.
