Responsibilities:

• Actively support and contribute to the Catholic Identity and Mercy ethos of the school, providing contemporary experiences in Religious Education.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Primary Years or Early Years pedagogy with an emphasis on student engagement across all learning areas.
• Design inclusive learning programs where data informs practice in teaching both literacy and numeracy (evidence-based).
• Create a positive class culture, focussed on student wellbeing with an emphasis on enabling children to self-regulate, develop personal responsibility, and be successful learners.
• Communicate effectively using interpersonal skills that build positive partnerships with students, parents, colleagues, and the broader community.
• Use assessment data to support planning and design learning programs that meet the individual academic and wellbeing needs of every learner.
• Be an energetic, dynamic educator who is committed to ongoing personal and professional learning and demonstrate a willingness to utilise generative AI to support the teaching and learning process.
