Role description

St Mary Magdalene School is seeking a Qualified OSHC Education Support Officer to join our vibrant and dedicated OSHC team. We are looking for someone who brings genuine enthusiasm and a deep care for children.

Our Outside School Hours Care service is a valued and respected part of the St Mary Magdalene community, ensuring students are nurtured in a safe, supportive, and caring environment Before and After School as well as pupil free days.

About You

To be successful in the role, you will have experience and passion for working with young people in growth-focused, positive and professional ways:

  • Demonstrated ability working and communicating effectively with children. Experience working with children with additional needs 
  • Ability to implement positive and supportive behaviour management practices and be a good role model for students 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills  
  • Proven ability to develop a strong positive rapport with students, staff, and parents/caregivers and foster effective professional relationships. 
  • Willingness to uphold the culture and ethos of Catholic schools
  • An active commitment to ongoing professional learning and development
