Role description
Due to an increase in enrolments, Catherine McAuley School invites applications from passionate and dedicated OSHC Educators who would like to join our student focused, vibrant school community.
These casual Grade 2 OSHC Educator positions (will suit both Unqualified with experience or Qualified) with an hourly rate from $43.98/hour will commence ASAP.
Join our OSHC Team and provide safe, engaging, developmentally appropriate care for children outside regular school hours, as well as during school holidays (there are BSC, ASC and Vacation Care opportunities).
Key Responsibilities
- A willingness to support the Catholic ethos and Mercy Tradition of Catherine McAuley School
- Support the provision of a safe, healthy and stimulating environment for children, offering individual support and comfort when required
- Implement daily routines as directed
- Assist in the preparation and implementation of an educational program and activities consistent with the National Quality Standard
- Work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment
What You Need To Be Successful
- National Mandatory Child Safety Training certificate – Geccko registration page Training is free and delivered online.
- Approved ACECQA Certificate III Level qualification – check list of approved qualifications via this link: NQF approved qualifications list | ACECQAORunqualified with previous OSHC experience
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with students, families and staff
- Ability to work under supervision in accordance with the principles of the OSHC Quality Assurance process
