Role description
This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 3, 2026.
At East Victoria Park Education Support Centre (ESC), our vision is to empower diverse abilities in an inclusive learning environment with passion and purpose.
We provide each child with opportunities, through individual education programs and small group teaching, to maximise the development of physical well-being, self-regulation, communication, life skills and independence.

The Role
East Victoria Park ESC is seeking dynamic and motivated Special Needs Education Assistant to join their welcoming team.
The successful applicants will assist teaching staff in the delivery and assessment of planned education programs. You will ideally work under general supervision or autonomously and contribute advice and expertise, collaborating with school community members to support student achievement.
You should be committed to enhancing students’ learning opportunities through ongoing reflective classroom practice as well as plan and engage in professional learning opportunities which includes collaboration with colleagues. You should also contribute to and maintain a team environment.
Our school currently caters for 61 children from Kindergarten to Year 6 with cognitive, intellectual and/or physical disabilities.
Applicants who have experience in working with students with special needs in a primary Education Support setting, as well as experience in working with children with Autism, Intellectual Disability, Physical Disability and complex behaviour…
