Primary objectiveThe Stakeholder Engagement Manager provides high-level advice and support to executive and senior managers across the Department of Education to facilitate effective communication processes and engagement with external stakeholders.Context statementGunbalanya is a community of about 1,300 Indigenous people where the main language is Kunwinjku. It is approximately 300km east of Darwin City, in remote West Arnhem Land. The student cohort ranges from birth, preschool, primary to VET and secondary. The school operates a Flexi School Calendar based on local seasonal and cultural activities.Key duties and responsibilities
- Facilitates the implementation of key internal and external stakeholder engagement strategies to support the implementation of the department’s priorities aligned with the Children and Schooling Programme (CASP).
- Provide timely and quality information and advice, including written and verbal briefings, to the Principal, School Board, DET and Community Stakeholders.
