About the role
Mary MacKillop Catholic primary school is located in Narre Warren North, which is situated around 30 kilometres South East of Melbourne, falling within the city of Casey, on the lands of the Bunurong People. Mary MacKillop Primary School has an enrolment of 296 students across 14 classrooms. The school opened in 1995 and we are proud of our modern student and staff facilities. Mary MacKillop is a strong, vibrant community due to the partnership between parish, staff, parents and students.
The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic Education and to the safety and wellbeing of all students. The successful candidate will:
- hold current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) and adhere to VIT Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics
- Demonstrate a commitment to Catholic Education
- Demonstrate a commitment to Child Safety and Wellbeing
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with staff, students and families
- Be accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School or be willing to undertake accreditation
- Demonstrate passion and knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum (Version 2) and To Live In Christ Jesus Religious Education Curriculum
- Actively support the achievement of the school Strategic Improvement Plan and Annual Implementation Plan
