Selection Criteria

Strong organisational and administrative skills
Demonstrated capacity to coordinate food program operations, including menu planning, cooking, stock management, online ordering, record keeping, cash handling. -
Demonstrated experience in food service operations and stock management
Proven ability to plan, prepare, and deliver a range of healthy food options in line with Department of Education Policy. Demonstrated experience in ordering, stock rotation, and cost management to ensure efficiency and sustainability. -
Knowledge of and ability to implement health, safety, and hygiene regulations
Sound understanding of Food Safety Standards, Allergen Management, and Occupational Health and Safety requirements within a school or hospitality environment. Ability to maintain accurate compliance documentation. -
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent interpersonal skills to engage positively with students, staff, parents, and volunteers. Ability to promote a welcoming and inclusive environment reflective of school values. -
Ability to work independently
Proven ability to work independently, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines
