About You

As a Diverse Learning Teacher Secondary, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.

To excel in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • a commitment to Catholic Education, with a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support the faith formation of students
  • ability to create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students 
  • ability to work closely with students with a disability to provide access to the curriculum on the same basis as their peers
  • ability to facilitate and provide curriculum resource materials and information to support classroom teachers
  • ability todisseminate information about students' abilities, learning needs on a regular and ongoing basis to subject teachers
  • knowledge of the National Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) guidelines and levels of adjustment
  • ability tocommunicate and collaborate with parents, students and class teachers for effective differentiation in the classroom for students with additional needs
  • a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing effective feedback
  • a commitment to continual improvement of teaching and learning
  • highly developed interpersonal skills demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students and staff
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to promote a shared commitment to teaching and learning and alignment with College strategic directions
  • excellent time management, organisational and administrative skills
  • a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
  • Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
