Selection Criteria
Applicants must be able to demonstrate:
1. Expertise in VET Course Delivery - Manage team, extensive knowledge and experience in preparation, delivery and assessment of Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses and training packages.
2. Resource Management - Proven ability to manage resources, machinery, equipment and materials, while ensuring compliance with OHS regulations.
3. Effective Communication & Stakeholder Engagement - Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders, fostering positive and collaborative relationships.
4. Community Engagement - A capacity to share Ringwood Trainings vision that reflects the needs of the community, local employers, local secondary schools and other educational providers and prospective students.
5. Regulatory Knowledge & Compliance - Comprehensive understanding of AQTF Essential Standards and current Skills First, funding contract requirements, ensuring adherence to best practices in vocational education and training.

The Department Coordinator plays a pivotal leadership role in the administration, compliance, staff support and operational delivery of programs at Ringwood Training. This position ensures high-quality student experiences, staff performance and adherence to regulatory and organisational standards.
