Pipalyatjara is a small, remote community located in the far northwest corner of South Australia, near the borders with the Northern Territory and Western Australia. The community offers essential facilities including a health clinic, a local store, and a community centre and pool, fostering a close-knit and supportive environment for staff and residents.

We are seeking a passionate educator whose teaching philosophies align with the goals of the PYEC (https://www.pyec.org.au/strategic-overview), and all teachers need to develop respectful reciprocal relationships with Anangu Educators to deliver the curriculum.
Our programming features intentional and targeted Pitjantjatjara and English literacy intervention and instruction, extensive numeracy resourcing, and a dynamic 2-Way Science program (https://youtu.be/oIPmLwsQV1w ). We promote school attendance from birth with a flourishing playgroup and pre-school, and cultural experiences and engagement are part of our educational fabric.

* Support and guide the development, implementation, on-going monitoring and review of personalised learning plans including One Plans across R-12.
