Role description


This is a permanent full-time position commencing August 2026

The People Services Division delivers strategic and operational human resource services across the Department, supporting workforce capability, wellbeing and organisational performance. The Division is responsible for key functions including industrial and employee relations, workforce planning, recruitment and employment services, workers’ compensation, occupational safety and health, and strategic workforce policy development and evaluation.

Within the Division, the Workforce Planning Branch provides strategic workforce modelling, analysis and planning to support current and future workforce requirements across the Department. The Branch delivers workforce reporting and information services, contributes to workforce policy advice and university supply analysis, and supports schools through workforce planning and data-driven insights to enhance decision-making and maintain high-quality workforce data.

The Role

Experienced Business Intelligence and Data Analyst professional with expertise in designing, developing and maintaining dashboards, reports and data visualisations to deliver actionable insights on performance, trends and benchmarking. Skilled in applying structured methodologies to support evidence-based decision-making, operational improvement and strategic reporting across complex environments.
