About the Role

The HRIS Testing and Support Analyst is responsible for the planning and execution of testing, and providing level 2 functional/troubleshooting support to end-users. It also undertakes business analysis to support functional improvements. This role is a highly relational role, which shares expertise and provide advice, assistance and operational support to schools and Central Office administrators in all matters relating to Sydney Catholic Schools' (SCS) and the PHRIS Federation Payroll/Human Resource Information System (PHRIS).

Given the ever-changing requirements and nature of the Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise system, this position requires the Analyst to multitask and have flexible working patterns to facilitate project implementation and upgrade/updates.

The role is required to perform tasks that include but are not limited to:

  • planning and executing test plans in phases such as:
    • System Integration testing
    • User Acceptance testing
    • End-to-End testing
    • Regression testing
  • providing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support to business users
  • providing Level 2 functional support and training to the business users, including troubleshooting
  • performing manual workarounds for incident that cannot be solved promptly
  • analysing requirements to determine and recommend system solutions
  • supporting technical developers in ensuring requirements are understood, addressed, delivered and meet business objectives
