Evans High School is a comprehensive, coeducational secondary school located in Blacktown, NSW, serving students in Years 7 through 12. Evans High School, is a comprehensive, co-educational secondary school that has served the South Blacktown community since 1973. The school caters for over 840 students with 4% of students of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds and 70% Language Other than English and 28% EAL/D learners. The complexity of our setting includes Y7-12 comprehensive setting, the largest Intensive English Centre with an enrolment of over 300 students, a Support Unit with 4 classes addressing Autism and a Return to School Centre servicing Western Sydney. We provide a broad curriculum, including the full range of academic subjects as well as a number of vocational education pathways to ensure all students have the opportunity to achieve their career pathways.
