Role description
The International Student Program Coordinator is a newly created position responsible for leading and managing the School’s International Students Program.
This role represents a significant opportunity to further develop and grow the program, aligning it with the Blackfriars Strategic Plan and best practice in international education. The Coordinator will oversee the end-to-end management of the CRICOS-registered program, ensuring a high-quality student experience and strong compliance framework.
Special Conditions:
- Regular out-of-hours work is required, including student arrivals and departures, emergency support, recruitment activities and related events.
- Domestic and international travel, including overseas recruitment travel, is an inherent requirement of the role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the International Students Program and supporting its strategic growth
- Managing student recruitment, enrolments and agent relationships
- Ensuring compliance with ESOS Act, National Code and PRISMS requirements
- Overseeing student welfare, homestay arrangements and pastoral care
- Supporting academic progress and SACE pathway planning
- Coordinating international and domestic recruitment activities
- Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to support program outcomes
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in international education or a CRICOS-registered program
- Strong knowledge of ESOS legislation, National Code and PRISMS
- Experience in student welfare and working with diverse cultural backgrounds
