Role description

The International Student Program Coordinator is a newly created position responsible for leading and managing the School’s International Students Program.

This role represents a significant opportunity to further develop and grow the program, aligning it with the Blackfriars Strategic Plan and best practice in international education. The Coordinator will oversee the end-to-end management of the CRICOS-registered program, ensuring a high-quality student experience and strong compliance framework.

Special Conditions:

  • Regular out-of-hours work is required, including student arrivals and departures, emergency support, recruitment activities and related events.
  • Domestic and international travel, including overseas recruitment travel, is an inherent requirement of the role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the International Students Program and supporting its strategic growth
  • Managing student recruitment, enrolments and agent relationships
  • Ensuring compliance with ESOS Act, National Code and PRISMS requirements
  • Overseeing student welfare, homestay arrangements and pastoral care
  • Supporting academic progress and SACE pathway planning
  • Coordinating international and domestic recruitment activities
  • Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to support program outcomes

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in international education or a CRICOS-registered program
  • Strong knowledge of ESOS legislation, National Code and PRISMS
