Salary Range: CES Office Salary Scale Level 4 - $80,318 to $90,765 FTE gross per annum

About the RoleThe Technical Support Officer (Service Desk) is a front‑line helpdesk role, providing direct user support within our busy head office and school environments. You will act as the first point of contact for IT assistance, with support from a Team of experienced IT staff for more complex issues.
The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, patient, and professional user assistance and mentorship, particularly to non-technical users.
Responsibilities include daily service desk support, routine checking of office systems such as meeting rooms, AV equipment, printers, and desktop and collaborative technologies, as well as travel to school sites across the region – Cairns and the Northern Beaches.
