Role description
This is an 18 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 3, 2026 with possible extension
As the largest remote community school in the state, La Grange Remote Community School (LGRCS) caters to the educational needs of all school-aged children in the Bidyadanga community, and classes range from Pre-Kindergarten (children aged 0–3 years old) to Year 12.
In addition to a strong commitment to developing the literacy and numeracy skills of its students, LGRCS offers a diverse range of specialist programs across all year levels including Art, Physical Education and Information and Communication Technology and a focus on cultural learning, particularly the provision of Language classes.

The Role
The successful applicant will ideally be a highly motivated and innovative Early Childhood Education Teacher with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. The learning environment you create should be both challenging and caring, culturally responsive, and tailored to meet the diverse needs and abilities of all students, enabling them to achieve their full potential.
The successful applicant should be prepared to actively participate in whole-school and phase planning, as well as collaborative curriculum teams.
