About the Role

The School Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness across the school. Duties include cleaning classrooms, bathrooms, offices, and high-traffic areas, as well as waste removal and general upkeep of school facilities. St Patrick's Catholic Primary School, Lithgow, is seeking a reliable and dedicated School Cleaner to join the team. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Cleaning and maintaining classrooms, bathrooms, administrative areas, and common spaces
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting as required
• Emptying bins and removing waste to designated areas
• Cleaning and replenishing bathroom facilities
• Wiping down surfaces, including window sills and mirrors
• Assisting with cleaning of air conditioning filters when needed
• Ensuring compliance with all Work Health & Safety requirements
