Established in 1897, Sacred Heart College is a co-educational Catholic college in the Marist tradition, nurturing both day and boarding students’ holistic needs from Years 7 to 12, across two campuses.

Applications are invited from educators for the following temporary teaching position, commencing Monday 22 June 2026:

Teacher – Physical Education and another subject area

• Champagnat Campus (Years 7 to 9), Mitchell Park
• Temporary position
• 22 June 2026 (beginning of Semester 2) to 11 December 2026
• 0.70FTE to 1.00 FTE

The successful applicant will demonstrate a capacity to engage, challenge and support learners to achieve their personal best and hold a deep belief in the capacity of every child to learn.     

The successful applicant will be able to teach Physical Education and another subject area. An ability to teach in the areas of Science and/or HASS would be considered advantageous.

The successful applicant will be joining a learning area with high levels of collegial collaboration and support. Sacred Heart College is committed to supporting and providing teachers with relevant professional learning opportunities to support their teaching practice. Graduate teachers are encouraged to apply.

The successful applicant must also complete our child-safe screening processes, including holding a Working with Children Clearance.
