About the role

Learning Support Officer

Emmaus Catholic Primary School is inviting applications from enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Officers who are passionate about helping children experience success, connection, and belonging at school. Applicants with experience supporting students in the early years are encouraged to apply.

The Learning Support Officer will work closely with classroom teachers, the Student Engagement and Wellbeing Team, and the Deputy Principal – Learning and Teaching to provide targeted support for students with a range of learning, behavioural, and social-emotional needs.

As part of our commitment to inclusive education, Learning Support Assistants play a significant role in fostering student engagement, wellbeing, and learning growth through our Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS). At Emmaus, we are committed to building a culture where every child feels valued, supported, and capable of achieving their best.

Position Information

  • Part-time position – 5 days per week
  • Hours: 8:30am – 3:15pm
  • Commencement: Monday, 13 July 2026
