Primary objective
Provide classroom-based support to the teaching staff and contribute to the implementation of the preschool program and Early Years activities within the school, including general administration of preschool resources and facilities, supporting the documentation and evaluation of children’s learning and liaising daily with families and community under the direction of the teacher in charge.
Context statement
Braitling Preschool is sited within Braitling Primary School, in the northern suburbs of Alice Springs. The preschool caters for up to 88 students within the whole school enrolment of approximately 300 students, many of whom are from diverse cultural backgrounds, including a cohort of approximately 56% aboriginal students.
