Primary objective
Work collaboratively in delivering high quality educational programs for students with complex disability and additional needs in partnership with families, community and professional networks to achieve optimal educational outcomes for these students.
Context statement
Nakara Primary is an urban school with a student population of approximately 450 including Preschool and an Early Learning Centre. The school community has a large number of families with English as an additional language. Nakara currently has a focus on Restorative Practices and developing strong Wellbeing and Inclusion practices to ensure all students are able to access education in a safe and nurturing environment.
