Primary objective
This position supports the Aboriginal Educators team in leading, delivering, reporting, and evaluating the suite of initiatives under the Remote Aboriginal Teacher Education (RATE) project with a focus on professional learning opportunities for Aboriginal Educators in remote schools through sustainable, system-wide approaches that align with career aspirations and department strategic direction. This position specifically focuses on training and professional development opportunities for remote Aboriginal Educators. As part of the leadership team this position leads and monitors progress of school improvement priorities that align with developing capacity of Aboriginal educators.
Context statement
Yirrkala School is located in East Arnhem Land in the community of Yirrkala.
