About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an approachable and organised Administration Assistant to join the supportive team at St Philomena's Catholic Primary School, Bathurst. As an Administration Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school’s front office, providing exceptional support to staff, students, and families while maintaining the welcoming and professional atmosphere of the school.

We are seeking an Administration Assistant who understands and commits to supporting the mission and ethos of Catholic education within the school by:

  • Serving as the first point of contact for parents, students, and visitors, handling enquiries professionally and directing them as required.
  • Assisting with student attendance records, enrolments, and school communication through Compass and other systems.
    Managing correspondence and documentation, including emails, newsletters, school calendar updates, and maintaining student records.
  • Providing administrative support to school leadership and staff, including filing, data entry, and preparing letters or reports.
  • Assisting with school events, excursions, and bus bookings, ensuring proper communication and organisation.
