Role description
This is a permanent part-time (0.4FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2026
Jandakot Primary School (PS) is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Network Support Officer to join our friendly and professional team.
This innovative role is focused on ensuring the effective and efficient operations of the school’s network to support our educational goals and administrative functions, within the Departmental asset management and security regulatory framework. We are looking for a team player with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

The Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the school’s information and communication technologies (ICT) network and systems and developing and maintaining an ICT replacement program. They will also provide advice and training on technical issues, applications and enhancements associated with ICT and in line with the Department of Education (DoE) requirements and policies. The ability to work within the framework and understandings established by the Learning with ICT and ensure the integrity of educational and administrative data through the implementation and maintenance of data security strategies, is integral to this role. The successful applicant will liaise with Department of Education ICT Support to resolve hardware, software, and network related issues.
