Role description


We are seeking to establish a pool of Special Needs Education Assistants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

As a Special Needs Education Assistant, you would work under the direction of the teacher to support the implementation of specialised education programs and contribute to an inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of students.

Suitable applicants should display a commitment to collaborate and the ability to build positive, respectful relationships with students, parents, staff, and the wider community. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are highly desirable.
