- It is an operational requirement that the candidate hold at least a SHB20216 Certificate II in Salon Assistant or verifiable vocational competence and current industry experience
- It is an operational requirement that the candidate the person must hold one of the following credentials:
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessmentor its successor,
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- A diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education or vocational education and training
- A secondary teaching qualification andone of the following credential
- TAESS00011 Assessor Skill Set ( or obtain within 3 months of commencement), or
