Kempsey Adventist School (KAS) is inviting applications for a full-time Primary Teacher on a six-month parental leave position, commencing term 3, 2026.

 

Kempsey Adventist School is located on the beautiful Mid-North Coast, perfect for those looking for a tree and sea change. It serves the rural community of the Macleay Valley, seeking to be the hands and feet of Christ, by providing a nurturing environment that is based on high expectation relationships to achieve successful learning outcomes. KAS is a close-knit, nurturing co-educational facility at the heart of the local community providing quality education in a Christian context from Pre-Kindy – Year 12. Our campus is located in a beautiful bushland setting on Dunghutti country between Crescent Head and Kempsey.

 

The successful applicant will:

  • Teamwork and initiative.
  • A growth mindset and a willingness to include student focused innovative methodologies as part of their teaching practices to ensure high levels of student engagement and improved learning outcomes for both Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) and non-ATSI students including cross-curricular experiences.
