SCIENCE TEACHER (Years 7-12)

The successful applicant for this position will have a strong knowledge and understanding of Junior Science, as well as experience teaching Stage 6 Biology/Chemistry. As a highly accomplished classroom teacher, they will have demonstrated success in Year 7-12 classrooms, be able to encourage, engage and inspire students, have experience in curriculum differentiation and expertise in using a range of different pedagogical strategies within the classroom, including the effective use of technology. They will be able to model the highest standards of professional skill and collaborative teaching practice and encourage students to be critical and creative thinkers and independent and self-reliant learners. The successful applicant will also be committed to the full life of the School and supportive of its Christian ethos
