HEAD OF LEARNING AREA - INCLUSION

Position Details
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Head of Inclusion to join our College commencing in Term 3, 2026. This is a temporary one-year appointment, the College also welcomes applications from candidates interested in undertaking this role as a secondment opportunity.

Reporting to the Deputy Principal’s, the Head of Learning Area – Inclusion, provides strategic, pastoral, operational and pedagogical leadership for inclusive education across the College. The role ensures that students with disability and diverse learning needs are known, valued, supported and challenged to achieve meaningful growth.

What we are seeking a passionate educator who can demonstrate their:

•    Expert knowledge of inclusive education, disability standards, reasonable adjustments and contemporary practice.
•    Experience designing, implementing and reviewing Individual Education Plans
•    capacity to support teachers in curriculum adjustment, differentiation and Universal Design for Learning.
•    Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
•    Ability to work strategically and operationally.
•    Sound judgement, emotional intelligence and the ability to make student-centred decisions.
