Position Details

Whitford Catholic Primary School is a triple stream school founded in the Mercy tradition. The school caters for 760 students in a co-educational setting from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. Whitford Catholic Primary School offers a broad curriculum, with our staff committed to working in a collaborative environment.

This is a temporary, part time (0.4FTE) position for 2026 teaching Year Four. The teaching days for this position are Thursday and Friday.
 
Selection Criteria
We are seeking a suitably qualified and enthusiastic teacher who has the necessary knowledge, skills, ability and professional capacity to:
-    Be a practising Catholic and fully support the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education;
-    Work professionally, cooperatively and collaboratively as part of a cohesive and dedicated team of educators;
-    Demonstrate success as a dynamic, innovative and reflective practitioner who strives for excellence;
-    Show a sound knowledge of the Western Australian curriculum and practise effective strategies to engage, motivate and manage students in their learning;
-    Demonstrate the ability to incorporate contemporary approaches to learning and teaching, including the use of data to inform practice in order to raise student levels of achievement;
-    Show highly developed organistional and interpersonal skills with a successful record of developing positive relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider community;
