Your Role
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and enthusiastic persons for the position of Library Assistant. This is a term-time continuing position for 23 hpw, for commencement Term 3, 2026 (13 July 2026).
Typical duties include:-
- Organise and coordinate Book Fairs and Book Club
- Process student and teacher borrowing and process bulk loans
- Disseminate library information to staff
- Reinforce strict borrowing procedures for both staff and students
- Under the direction of the Principal purchase library resources
- Attend Library Cluster Meetings or Diocesan Library Conferences/Video Conferences when necessary
- Maintain the library as an attractive and inviting space for learners
- Shelve and circulate library resources, cover books and perform general maintenance on library resources
- Cull resources under the guidance of the Principal
