Role description


We are seeking to establish a pool of Special Needs Education Assistants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Endeavour Education Support Centre (ESC) supports students with disabilities who are supported through Schools Resourcing. It shares its site with Endeavour Primary School and both schools work collaboratively under the school’s name of Endeavour Schools. Endeavour Schools is a truly inclusive school setting where the primary school and education support centre work together for the benefit of all students where every child is special.

The Role

Endeavour ESC is seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Special Needs Education Assistants to join our dynamic and supportive team.

As a Special Needs Education Assistant, you should have the ability to work independently and use initiative to assist the teacher in maintaining order and assisting in the delivery and implementation of planned education programs. Some of the skills and attributes desired to be successful include experience dealing with complex behaviours, working with individuals or small groups of students and reporting student achievement and progress to the teacher, experience with trauma informed practice and mental health, along with a sound understanding of a range of disabilities.
