The Role
The Aboriginal Student Support Officer plays a crucial role in fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment for our Indigenous students. As a liaison between the school and community, the Aboriginal Student Support Officer works closely with teachers, students and families to develop culturally relevant educational programs that empower our Indigenous students to reach their full potential.
Through mentoring and pastoral care, the Aboriginal Student Support Officer provides support and guidance to Indigenous students, particularly those at risk, to encourage participation and achievement in the classroom.
