Position Information
Broken Hill High School is a comprehensive high school with 435 students (24% Aboriginal) in Far West New South Wales. The school is proud of its academic, cultural and sporting achievements as well as catering for all students. The school has 7 support classes for students with learning support needs. The school has an ongoing partnership and shares some senior curriculum with a neighbouring high school. Strong community ties are evident through the P&C as well as partnerships with the Clontarf foundation to assist Aboriginal boys with their education and career pathways. The school has a strong welfare focus and is a HPGE partner school.
Specific Selection Criteria
Approval to teach Modern History. Willingness to teach History (7-10) and Geography (7-10).
