Head Teacher Science - Lake Macquarie High School

Lake Macquarie High School is a dynamic coeducational secondary school located on the shore of Lake Macquarie neighbouring culturally historic sites in the Booragul, Speers Point and Fennell bay areas. Our ethos is “Aspire, Embrace, Innovate”, whereby we ensure every child is inspired to do their best within an accepting school community with staff continually improving their practice through strategic professional learning. The current enrolment is 475 students (20% Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and 4% Pasifika) with an expected student enrolment exceeding 600 by 2029.

With a focus on high expectations and explicit teaching, staff collaborate with each other to design and embed the new curriculum across all KLA’s.
