We are seeking a passionate and contemporary educator to join our welcoming and vibrant Catholic school community. 

About the Role:

This is a full-time position for a qualified (R-6) Primary Years teacher who is committed to nurturing students' spiritual, academic, and personal growth in alignment with our Catholic ethos.  

We Are Looking For an Educator Who:

  • Is committed to the Catholic ethos of St John the Apostle Parish School
  • Has experience or willing to learn the Playberry Mulitsensory Literacy program.
  • Uses student data to inform teaching and learning, ensuring all students are supported and challenged appropriately.
  • Works collaboratively within a professional team environment, contributing positively to shared goals and initiatives.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the science of learning and applies evidence-based teaching practices in the classroom.
  • Promotes a learning environment that teaches and supports student wellbeing incorporating the implementation of Restorative Practices to develop self regulation and Personal Responsibility.
  • Is committed to ongoing professional learning and reflective practice.

 

The successful candidate will be required to provide: 

  • Working with Children Check
  • Teachers Registration Certificate (certified copy)
  • Full Day (7 hour) Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect- Education and Care (RRHANEC) training
  • First Aid Training
