Role description

South Bunbury Primary School (PS) and South Bunbury Education Support Centre (ESC) are seeking to fill 2 x Aboriginal and Islander Education Officer (AIEO) positions. The jobs may be filled by one AIEO working a combined 0.4 FTE across two schools or individually (0.2 FTE and 0.2FTE), should there be two successful applicants

The South Bunbury Campus brings together South Bunbury PS and South Bunbury ESC to create a learning community where every child is known, valued, and supported to thrive. Together, we provide an inclusive and nurturing environment that celebrates diversity and champions the unique learning journey of every student.

South Bunbury PS was established in 1913 and has a highly regarded history of providing quality education to generations of families. The South Bunbury Campus is located on the traditional lands of the Noongar Wardandi people, and we acknowledge and respect the contribution they make to the education of everyone in our school community.

South Bunbury PS staff believe in unlocking each child’s unique learning potential by providing the tools, guidance, and confidence they need to learn and grow. Success for our students is defined not only by academic achievement but also by their growth as curious, resilient, and socially capable individuals. Educators engage in ongoing professional learning, collaboration and reflective practice to implement whole‑school, evidence‑based programs that respond effectively to student needs. Through strong curriculum and wellbeing teams, staff drive continuous improvement and deliver high‑quality teaching.
