This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 3, 2026

Kelmscott Senior High School (SHS) is going through an exciting period of positive growth, change and innovation and this is an aspiring Media and Communication Officer opportunity to drive this change. The school offers Department of Education endorsed Specialist Programs in Agriculture and Music, Gifted & Talented Secondary Selective Entrance Program and a range of Kelmscott academic extension programs in Mathematics, Science, English and Humanities & Social Sciences.

The Role

As the Media and Communications Officer, you will play a key role in promoting the school’s identity and achievements. You should have a strong interest in social media and be confident in creating a range of communication materials to support marketing activities, events and whole-school initiatives. The role includes maintaining and updating the school’s website, social media channels and related software to ensure content is accurate, current and engaging.

The successful applicant will ideally build and maintain positive relationships with print and digital media outlets, as well as key internal and external stakeholders. You will actively seek opportunities to enhance the school’s online presence and extend the reach of our communications within the school community and through our Alumni network.
