We are a Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) school with a strong culture of collaboration, care, and continuous improvement. Our staff work closely together to create engaging and supportive learning environments where every student is encouraged to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
The successful applicant will:
Foster a calm, positive, and inclusive classroom culture that reflects our school values of Kindness, Respect, Responsibility and Learning.
Support students to successfully transition into school life through strong relationships, consistent routines, and responsive teaching practices.
Deliver high-quality early years teaching aligned with the Australian Curriculum, with a strong focus on explicit phonics instruction, early reading development, and foundational numeracy skills.
Use evidence-based teaching practices, including approaches informed by the Science of Reading.
Use student data and observations to inform instruction and support individual learning needs.
Implement and embed our Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) framework to support student engagement, regulation, and success.
Work collaboratively as part of a professional and supportive team and contribute to whole-school improvement initiatives.
This role offers the opportunity to be part of a thriving, community-focused school where student wellbeing, engagement, and strong foundations for learning are at the heart of everything we do.
