Role description


We are seeking to establish a pool of School Psychologists for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The pool will initially be used to fill current vacancies located in Derby, Fitzroy Crossing and Halls Creek with applicants located or willing to locate to these areas being strongly encouraged to apply. The pool may also be used to appoint successful applicants to permanent and fixed term vacancies as they arise in Kununurra and Broome.

This is a fabulous opportunity for an experienced School Psychologist seeking adventure who is keen to grow their professional skill set and ready for a ‘stretch’ assignment- someone with strong systems support knowledge and/ or coaching and mentoring experience who can value add to the needs of a rural and remote School Psychology team OR equally it would be a great opportunity for an early career School Psychologist seeking to challenge themselves, ready to enhance their professional experience and support the holistic learning and wellbeing needs of our students.
