The Role

Coastal Lakes College (CLC) is seeking a passionate, innovative and knowledgeable Curriculum leader to fill the position of Head of Learning Area (HOLA) Science. The successful applicant will be a collaborative, people-focused and improvement-driven curriculum leader, that promotes active participation amongst students and connects them to the real world through their learning. It is highly desirable that the successful applicant be experienced in teaching Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) Physics and possess well developed skills in leading high-quality teaching and learning programs and assessments. The HOLA Science will have a strong background in high quality, evidence-based instructional practice and will be passionate and skilled in building the capacity of their staff to implement the colleges Teaching, Learning and Assessment Framework.

As HOLA - Science, your primary role will be to lead staff in the effective implementation of the WA Science Curriculum and the implementation of the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) courses across the learning area in our ATAR, General and Vocational Directions Pathway Programs.
