This is a 8-month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 2, 2026 with possible permanency

Parkwood Primary School (PS), established in 1975, is located at the eastern end of the Fremantle–Peel Education District, adjacent to Lynwood Senior High School. Our school provides high-quality facilities, equipment and resources that support rich and engaging learning experiences. We currently cater for approximately 600 students from Kindergarten to Year 6, including around 100 students enrolled in our Intensive English Centre.

The Role

Parkwood PS is seeking a knowledgeable, dedicated and values-driven Deputy Principal (Student Services) to join our high-performing leadership team. This pivotal role calls for a strong moral purpose and an unwavering commitment to placing positive student outcomes at the centre of all decision-making.

The successful applicant will ideally:

• Lead and sustain a culture of high expectations for all students
• Oversee the coordination of complex student case management, including disability resourcing applications
• Work collaboratively with the Learning Support Coordinator, School Psychologist, Education Assistants and the wider Student Services team
• Support teachers and allied professionals to reflect on practice and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Engage effectively with students, parents/carers and external agencies, particularly in supporting students with diagnosed or imputed disabilities
