About St Dominic’s College

St Dominic’s College is a Catholic school for boys in Years 7–12, conducted in the Edmund Rice tradition as part of Edmund Rice Education Australia. The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and capable TAS Teacher to join our team on a temporary basis, commencing as soon as possible through to the end of the 2026 College year. The successful applicant may be required to teach across TAS subject areas including Technology Mandatory, Industrial Technology, and Design & Technology, depending on timetabling requirements.

 

New graduate teachers and those who hold conditional NESA accreditation are strongly encouraged to apply. The College is committed to supporting early career teachers with mentoring, accreditation guidance, and a welcoming professional environment in which to grow.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective TAS lessons in line with NESA syllabus requirements and College curriculum expectations.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and respectful learning environment that supports student engagement and wellbeing.
  • Manage classroom and workshop behaviour effectively and in accordance with College policies and WHS requirements.
  • Assess student progress and provide timely, meaningful feedback.
