ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
Position Details
St Columba’s Catholic Primary School, South Perth, is seeking to appoint an organised and professional Administration Officer to join our school community in a part-time capacity, working 3 days per week at the school front office. The Administration Officer plays an important role in supporting the daily operations of the school and will work closely with the Administration Team, Finance Officer and Principal. This position involves regular interaction with students, parents/carers, staff and visitors, and requires a welcoming and compassionate approach.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• General reception and administrative support duties
• Maintaining student attendance records and preparing routine reports and correspondence relating to absenteeism
• Mail collection and distribution
• Providing basic first aid support to students
• Assisting with the preparation of school documentation and internal and external publications
Selection Criteria
• Experience in a similar administration or reception role
• A warm, welcoming and compassionate personality
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, databases and internet applications
• The ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
• A commitment to providing high-quality support within a Catholic school environment
