Role description
This is an eight (8) month fixed term, part-time (0.4FTE) position commencing Term 2, 2026 with possible extension and/or permanency
At Dianella Heights Primary School (PS), our staff and community work collaboratively through a shared vision, to assist children to develop, extend and meet their potential. The Role
We are seeking a Year 5/6 teacher (0.4FTE Monday - Tuesday) who is ideally motivated, innovative, and displays high quality teaching skills. Ideally, they will be committed to ongoing professional growth and development, support current whole-school processes, and participate in collaborative planning and instructional coaching.
We seek a teacher who can inspire students to develop an enthusiasm for learning in vibrant, engaging, and supportive classrooms. The successful applicant will ideally display the ability to build strong and valuable relationships with students, staff, and the school community. They should exhibit proactive strategies to support and improve student behaviour and engagement, to enable positive outcomes in and out of the classroom.
